SeasonCaster provides web application time series forecasting services for users to produce affordable on-demand forecast predictions. Currently, this analytical service is available at two membership levels. The free version is known as SimpleCaster, while the premium version is MultiCaster.SimpleCaster is a statistical app dashboard that allows the user to upload a spreadsheet (as a .csv) containing time series data. That is, it is recorded as a numerical series in equally-spaced time intervals. The first column must be the date column, while the second column is the metric. Once imported, the dashboard displays a plot of the time series along with the forecasts and confidence intervals. As well, a table below displays the forecasts in tabular format. Additionally, the user can toggle the forecast horizon.MultiCaster contains the same functionality as the SimpleCaster, with the added ability to forecast a time series spreadsheet with multiple instruments or columns. Additionally, MultiCaster gives the user the option to download a spreadsheet file with the forecasts, along with a downloadable word document containing the forecast plot and forecast table.Currently, the last premium level of membership is the Forecaster Gold package, which is under construction. When launched, this package will give the user significantly improved functionality. Hence, it will provide all the same utilities as the MultiCaster. However, the user will have an additional tab allowing for a deeper dive into each instrument. The user will be able to try different model fits, and view model output.In addition, that output will be downloadable as a word document along with a spreadsheet of the forecasts.Finally, the user can toggle which models to fit for the final forecasts of each instrument. Then, these forecasts will be used for the overall forecast spreadsheet for all instruments, along with the overall analysis word document.
