Sibelloptics has developed a long-range Wind imaging Lidar system with applications in Wind Energy, Aviation Safety, Firefighting, Pollution tracking, and Meteorology. Wind Farms suffer from inefficiencies due to poor site selection, poor turbine placement, inability to optimize blade pointing, and loss of expensive equipment due to rogue gusts.
