St. Milarepa Academy (SMA) is an experiential learning school focussed on providing quality education to early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students in the town of Sukhia Pokhri, Darjeeling. The school caters to more than 75% of tribal and minority populations in the region and adjoining tea gardens.Based on the life of Tibetan Yogi - Jetsun Milarepa and his teachings, the aim of St. Milarepa Academy is to support each child's learning journey to develop the knowledge, skills, and character strengths to become future leaders who embody and practice leadership principles based on values of compassion and service.
