Sub-Bombin is a dynamic label of artists based in Upstate New York, releasing original music from all over the country. Formed in 2005, the name was taken from the late night indie hip-hop radio show hosted by Rawhead and Midas on Skidmore College's WSPN FM in Saratoga Springs. The duo infused the local scene with the finest in underground hip-hop, instrumentals and even playing some early Sub-Bombin crew releases.Then, from a natural evolution of friends with a common love for hip-hop, and music in general, an original production crew turned its energies into an actual record label. In 2007 they began to press cd's, records and t-shirts, and later added it's digital store to provide an avenue for exclusive Sub-Bombin releases in the digital era.
