Tannat is a real estate project located between the West Station and the Duchess of Brabant Square in Brussels. It is located in a dynamic neighborhood in Sint Jans Molenbeek with places like Recyclart, Atelier Groot Eiland, Cinemaxililiaan and Circularium within walking distance.Living and workingTannat consists of two parts: an economic ground floor with four layers of residential units stacked on top. As a result, there are no apartments or homes on the ground floor, only the collective entrances for the residential program. This ground floor is made of concrete in order to make the large spans as efficient as possible, but it also serves as a table on which the houses, made of CLT (solid wood construction), are placed.On the ground floor, space is made for economic activities. These are a large warehouse-like space that connects the rue des Vier-Winds with rue Edmond Bonehill, a large space at the head of the project on the little square on rue Lessen, and two smaller studio spaces (one on rue des Vier-Winds and one on rue Edmond Bonehill), each flanked by the collective entrance areas for the residential program.
