The Tech Care Association (TCA) is a non-profit professional trade association designed to help its members in the tech repair, support, reuse, and recycling industry succeed. Our primary goal is to work with our members to raise awareness of the tech care industry in order to help them thrive in their respected areas of expertise. At the same time we are opening up additional opportunities for our members to pursue by investing in new technology.What is Tech Care? It is all about reducing e-waste by keeping devices in the market longer. Our members help repair and refurbish consumer electronics to extend their life. Then making sure they end up in the right stream when they reach the end of life. We believe that the best solution for customers and the planet is a community based system of servicing devices. A hyperlocal approach that relies on thousands of small business people, like our members.Right to Repair: The TCA fully supports the right to repair movement. We are working to give the power back to the consumer while funneling more work to small businesses.In the end it's all about repairing and maintaining our technology, refurbishing products for reuse, and efficient recycling to reduce their environmental impact.
