The Beacon Press is a family run business based in Gibraltar selling Stationery, Office Supplies & Office Furniture. We aim to provide all customers with the best value prices along with the best level of service. Originating in 1985 as a souvenirs wholesaler by the name of Pinnacle Souvenirs, it wasn't until 1987 that we took on the trading name The Beacon Press, becoming the local commissioned agent for a UK Printer. Shortly after this, we began selling stationery and office products, looking to take advantage of a gap in the market. Our retail shop first opened at 1 Fountain Ramp. In addition to this, we offered a delivery service to corporate clients from the outset, and provided a weekly mail order service using our network of UK and European suppliers for those products we could not hold in stock. With business excelling we expanded our Shop firstly into 5 Cloister Ramp and later 3 Cloister Ramp as well, and can still be found at the same location today.The Beacon Press began providing office furniture on the back of the success we had as a stationery supplier, and has greatly benefited from this decision, with this aspect of the company continually growing from strength to strength, winning a number of key tenders to fit numerous large scale projects in Gibraltar. Our growth has meant that we have had to continually expand our operation. Thus, when the opportunities arose we opened our 3 warehouse units in Europa Business Centre. This allows us to be able to provide all our customers – Large & Small Companies, Govt. Departments, MoD & retail clients – with the much larger and varied range of stock in both stationery and office furniture that we have today. This is backed up by a much larger and more efficient weekly order service for toners & cartridges, stationery and furniture. With a brand new website soon to be launched, we are excited as to what the future can bring, and how this will improve our service to our clients.
