Whether it's not knowing what to say, or how to say it, we are here to liberate you from that fear to unlock your potential!It all started at a wedding I was the Emcee for a few years ago. On the morning of the wedding I got a call from the Groom saying the best man didn't want to do his speech. I knew how important it was to the groom that his best mate said some nice words on his special day.I decided to ring the Best Man to find out what the issue was. For him, he wasn't confident in his material and was quite nervous about speaking in front of all his friends and family. We talked through it, worked on some strategies and after our conversation he was much more confident and ready to deliver his speech.On the night, he nailed it!We also worked with an accountant who, given the choice between ringing a client or emailing them to get the necessary information to finalise the clients tax return, she would always take the email option.Productivity wise we all know that ringing and speaking directly to the person should get the information required far quicker than send an email and waiting for a response. So, we sat down to work out why she felt she email for the best option.For her it was a fear of being caught off guard, being asked a question that she didn't know the answer to. It was important that she was always cautious about giving the correct advice. Again, we worked through several strategies to navigate her way through these scenarios. Her confidence talking to clients over the phone grew immediately and productivity numbers drastically increased.Being a great communicator can be learnt.
