We're a pretty little pub in the suburb of Bamford, very close to Rochdale and Bury, and around 20 minutes from Manchester. We reopened under our current management, Nic & Ed, after an extensive refurbishment by Robinsons Brewery, in July 2017. We think we've built up a great business with a strong community following, and have made some good friends locally.We serve food Wednesday - Sunday and are open daily from 12 noon. You're welcome to call in for a drink without eating, but we would recommend booking a table if you'd like to eat, particularly at weekends. We pride ourselves on serving fresh, from-scratch food, with some delicious specials added to our usual menu at weekends. We're famous for our Cheese & Onion Pie, and our Sunday Lunch is legendary. We use local suppliers for all our food. We serve Robinsons cask ales, and a good selection of premium draught and bottled beers. Our wine list is full of award-winning wines, and we stock a great range of spirits. We can even whip up cocktails! Our staff have all been with us a while and we're a close-knit team who genuinely love looking after people. We have a large car park available for customer use. Our garden is to the rear of the pub, away from the road, and is a great suntrap. It has seating for eating or drinking, and a lovely grassy area for lounging or running about. We love dogs and they're welcome inside the pub in the bar area. You can eat in the bar area too. We'd love to see you over the Summer and can't wait to get back to doing what we do best.
