Prior to becoming a criminal defense attorney, I worked as an attorney at the U.S. Department of Education, an Assistant Public Defender for the State of Rhode Island, and as an Equal Opportunity Specialist at the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development. Before practicing law, I served in the United States Coast Guard for over 10 years. I received my Juris Doctorate from the University of Connecticut School of Law and my Bachelor of Arts Degree from Florida International University. I am an active member of the Rhode Island Bar Foundation and the National College for DUI Defense.
