When we lost Tony, we lost a friend, but the world lost a visionary, thought leader and change agent. He had so much more to give. Hearing the news of his passing, a group of us got together and started The Tony Hsieh Award to assure his legacy continues to influence and inspire for generations to come. We aim to further Tony's mission of building innovative practices that encourage employees to maximize their potential in work, life and beyond. The Tony Hsieh Award seeks out innovative and clever best practices that elevate people in the workplace. We aim to recognize and encourage individuals, teams and organizations who are challenging traditional ways of managing and empowering people through:- Demonstrated evidence of breakthrough and replicable innovation toward improving their employees' quality of work / life, engagement, resilience, and productivity.
