The Trailer Collective was born out of the need to create interdisciplinary and collaborative projects among different artists, spaces and topics (most of them directly related to social issues and different communities). Each project has a documentary-archival nature. It was founded by Cuban theater artists with previous experience in the management and ideation of actions, events and interdisciplinary exchanges.Our symbolic vehicle is mobile, never stuck to a fixed territory, and our intention is to work collectively with our collaborators, from a horizontal methodology and practice. Focused on building collaborative bridges between spaces that cross different formats and genres, we are open to the spectrum of relationships among artists, managers and thinkers from different disciplines and knowledges, who understand the common work as the fundamental axis to generate teams and long-lasting alliances.This project tries to be a SPACE for mediation and generation of nodes for long term networks in diverse countries, regions, from diverse languages and practices. It arose from the urgency of breaking flawed work structures, exhausted links between people and institutions, since the time we were in Cuba.THE TRAILER is for us, in the end, a necessary gesture for movement, exploration and mutual knowledge of each other.
