The name ‘The Wild Glen' was developed with three things in mind – the location of the business being Glenealy, Co Wicklow, the mind itself being overwhelmed and a little ‘Wild' in need of some care and rest and finally nature and earth being key to our products. ‘The Wild Glen' seemed to capture the essence of all these elements.The beauty of nature and its grounding properties are at the core of this small family business as is the joy of giving gifts that will capture peoples hearts.All our candles & wax melts are made from Soy wax locally sourced from Bomar in Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow. Soy wax is made from soy beans, which are a renewable resource and biodegradable. Unlike traditional paraffin wax candles, soy wax candles are non-toxic and do not release harmful chemicals when burned. In addition, soy wax candles burn longer and cleaner, meaning they produce less soot and residue.Pebbles handpicked from rivers, streams and beaches in the locality as well as twigs and leaves collected from the garden provide the inspiration for the simple yet beautiful pebble artwork pieces. Each piece is individually hand-crafted including the frame creating a unique gift inspired by nature. We pour our heart into every piece, hoping they capture the magic of your most important moments in life, love, and family.
