From developing and mentoring indie festival shorts to overseeing complete feature film and television productions with multi-million dollar budgets, Timshel is equipped for a wide range of Film, Television and Digital Media projects. Recent Timshel projects include service production on the first season of the CW TV series Backpackers for Shaftesbury Films as well as the feature films I, Martin Short Goes Home, Stag, Cold Blooded, The Privileged, The Masked Saint, Bark Ranger, The Steps Antibirth, starring Chloe Sevigny and Natasha Lyonne. Timshel's latest project was the in-house developed and produced "Group Home" - written and directed by Timshel President Justin Kelly along with VP-Development Danny Mendlow co-writing and producing.In 2011, Timshel produced its first in-house Short Film, The Seder, written and directed by Justin Kelly. The Seder went on to be nominated for Best Short Film by the Directors Guild of Canada, and by the LA Comedy Film Festival, and has screened at various festivals including the UK Jewish Film Festival, the Inside Out LGBT Film Festival, The Jewish Eye Film Festival in Israel and winning "Best Short Film" at the Hong Kong Jewish Film Festival. It has since gone on to be picked up for distribution by 7th Art Media and continues its globe-trotting festival run to this day. In the fall of 2014, Timshel wrapped their in-house Timshel Feature Film, Unearthing, with Breakthrough Entertainment. It is currently in Post-Production, gearing up for a festival release. Timshel is service producing the TV Series Slasher for Shaftesbury Films during summer and fall of 2015, currently in pre-production. They have over 25 other Film, TV and Digital properties at various stages of development.
