UJUZI Tanzania Skills Forum is a Tanzanian Non-Governmental Organization registered in Tanzania with a mission to link and coordinate skills development for young women and youths in Tanzania with the objective of gaining social, political, and economical independence. UJUZI's aim is to contribute to improving Tanzania's skills force by equipping young people, especially girls with short term, practical and accessible, relevant, and competent quality skills for social, political, and economic empowerment and preparation for the world of tomorrow.Founded in 2019, UJUZI imparts multi-sectoral technological and entrepreneurship skills as well as skills upgrade to young women and youth with the aim of improving their economic and social livelihood and gain (self) employment.UJUZI works in various sectors including agriculture, renewable energy, health and hygiene, arts, crafts, and culture. Throughout the skills development and training, UJUZI mainstreams gender and technology. To date, UJUZI has reached more than 400 youths in Dar Es Salaam and Zanzibar.
