Cancer diagnosis affects every area of a child's life. The financial burden of treatments and hospital stays on families can be overwhelming. Uplift With A Gift was founded by Tessa Naman, student at Oakland University, as a resource that collects gifts to be given to children and teens during holidays and birthdays. Uplift With A Gift does not ask for money. No monetary donation, no promise to funding. All we request is gifts that will bring immediate joy to children whose lives have been affected by cancer. Some examples of gifts are new books, games, toys, movies, caps, scarves, headbands, costumes, t-shirts, socks, coloring books, markers, crayons, stuffed animals, birthday cards, gift bags, wrapping paper, balloons, etc.Please contact for donations and volunteer opportunities. Local drives will be posted on social media page updates. All donations will be given to the Children's Hospital of Michigan for distribution during holiday seasons and for birthdays.
