From 1986 to 2000 it was called Vivekananda Kendra Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (VK YOGAS). VYASA is the mother organization of S-VYASA, A Deemed University. VYASA has its Office for communications in Ekanath Bhavan in Bangalore city and Residential Campus – Prashanti Kutiram, 35 kms from the city.Vision: To bring the benefits of Yoga to everyone in the society.Mission: To make Yoga a socially relevant science by using the modern tools of scientific research What is Yoga?Yoga as a way of life, the science of Holistic Living to bring health and happiness, peace, efficiency , harmony and growth in individuals.
