Creating the Autonomous Navigation System of the Future:We believe navigation capabilities for SAE Level 3, Level 4 and Level 5 autonomous vehicle systems are in their infancy. We also believe these early navigation systems are pursuing approaches that are not scalable, do not function in a broad range of roadway conditions, and will not deliver safe, reliable autonomous driving on all roadways.We realize the boldness of our mission, especially as a coming-out-of-stealth-mode start-up. Principals at Vergence Automation have been in the sensor, mapping and infrastructure business for over twenty years. Not only have we been-there, done-that, we have worked with entities that are the best-of breed in their respective core areas.
