Veterans Party of America was founded in December 2013 by a group of military Veterans, but is open to all Americans. Prior military service is always welcome, but is not required to serve as a party leader, member or candidate. Our name is meant to indicate who guarantees this party's commitment to ethical, solutions-based representation and accountable, Constitutional government.As a fully independent political party, recognized by the Federal Election Commission, our mission is to gain ballot access in all 50 states, and endorse candidates at levels of government: local, state and federal.
