Women Business Leaders is a faith-based, non-denominational group of women in the Birmingham marketplace who strive to impact the business world for Christ. In 2014, a steering committee of Christian business women was formed and a series of outreach luncheons were hosted soon after to discern the level of interest in a ministry like WBL. Within a few months, a network of over one hundred women had expressed an interest in WBL becoming a reality. WBL was formed as a sister entity to Young Business Leaders (YBL) which has been reaching men with a similar vision for over 30 years. At WBL we are women of faith seeking to make a difference in our workplace and communities. We have the ability to connect with and equip women at their point of need. WBL is women meeting the needs of women.
