Purpose: To create an online marketplace where customers are able to install solar power plants with zero investment and at the same time giving people opportunity to invest in solar power plants to gain double digit returns.Target Market: Commercial sector (industries, universities, hospitals,hotels etc) of India. We would be entering the residential market in the second phase.Problem we are solving.1. Huge electricity bill: Most of the commercial establishments suffer from high energy tariffs. We provide them the opportunity to switch to cheaper and cleaner source of energy e.g. solar.2. Solar power plants with zero investment: Most industries are willing to go solar however high upfront investment keeps them from adapting solar. We intend to offer solar power plants at zero investment, they pay for energy consumed which is atleast 15% lower than grid tariff.Business Model: We intend to charge a nominal transaction fee for marketplace activities.
