WISER is an organization for educational professionals in the Washington DC Metro. area including No Virginia and Maryland. Individual members include psychologists, diagnosticians, tutors, school placement counselors, occupational and speech therapists, life and learning coaches, optometrists, vision specialists and other professionals in the education-related fields.WISER's goals are to improve educational services and promote child advocacy by providing comprehensive resources to children and parents by: 1) fostering communication; 2)providing information; 3) presenting programs; 4)publishing an annual WISER directory, and 5) engaging in various activities of a proffesional or charitable nature.
