Wolverhampton Judo Club was formed in 1966 and is ranked as one of the UK's premier judo clubs. Over the years the club has celebrated many successes and is particularly proud of the many International and National players who have achieved medals status from both Olympic and World Championships.The club has a permanent mat area, providing sessions for all participants, both male and female, from the age of 5 years upwards. All coaches are experienced competitors have been CRB checked, hold HSE First Aid Certificates, attend Child Protection & Long Term Development courses and hold a BJA Coaching award.The club caters for visitors of all abilities, whether able bodied or a person with special needs, through to someone who simply wishes to just enjoy a recreational sport or the more serious players who wish to compete in Area, National and International competitions.
