Families can play together or simply lounge by the Olympic-size swimming pool. Summer activities include golf, fireworks, hayrides, dances, bonfires, tennis and beach volleyball. Winter is equally festive with a winter carnival, Valentine's Ball, ice fishing competitions and sledding. The stately 10,000- square-foot Cromaine Lodge sits on the water's edge and is an ideal spot for your wedding or conference. Upstairs, overlooking Michigan's most beautiful sunsets, is the Bellringer Club member lounge, open year-round for food and cocktails. Robert Crouse's historic philanthropic effort called the Hartland Area Project.
