The Waterloo Students Planning Advisory (WSPA) is a student-led advisory organization that aims to increase student participation in the local land-use planning and development review process. There are two main goals of the WSPA:- To allow students to apply their education and experience in a professional environment, while fostering an interest in their community and local planning matters.- To provide local planning authorities with a student perspective on development applications and municipal and regional planning initiatives.Established in early 2010, the WSPA is based out of the University of Waterloo with membership open to all interested post-secondary students.
