We believe in 'Connection for Change', that we can most consistently and effectively inspire climate action by empowering individuals to cultivate a deeper sense of connection to themselves, our community, and our planet.The Climate Crisis is the most pressing issue to face humankind in our existence, if we do not act imminently and intentionally, we will have dealt ourselves a deck we cannot survive. Coupled with tragically high rates of loneliness, depression, and anxiety, this leaves so many of us feeling overwhelmed by life itself. This is what We Can Change the World exists to transform. We believe that the climate crisis has arisen from the lack of connection to our planet; we see ourselves as separate from nature and not intrinsically a part of it. Loneliness being on track to be the most lethal epidemic the UK has ever seen is due to our lack of connection with each other, our community. Finally, the reason for all of this disconnection, is due to our lack of connection to self. We have a limited understanding of ourselves, and how we need to live in order to thrive as individual human beings.
