Respect, quality and an ambition to make the jewellery business more transparent drives us in our daily practice. We do our best to inspire others to consider the impact we all have through our businesses by hosting and attending events with an ethical agenda. Our philosophy is that only a natural and untreated sapphire is a true ambassador for our planet - unique, beautiful and complex. To treat it is to cut its connection to the Earth that created it. We believe that gemstones can and should have a positive effect on the people and communities around their origins. This is our first priority when we initiate new projects and create partnerships. It's essential to us that our supply chain is providing positive change and strengthening the nature and local communities. For this reason we dedicate half our time and workforce to working with ethical initiatives. In 2020 alone we spent 10% of our yearly turnover to fund this work.
