At West Kootenay Social Enterprise Society, we hire local persons with barriers to employment, to carry out janitorial duties.Trained, professional employment counselors and job coaches have worked hard with us to create a viable paid-work situation for people who otherwise would not have gainful employment. All our employees receive competitive wages and Employment Standards are met or exceeded.These people are accompanied by a trained job coach when necessary, and everyone is covered by our existing bonding and insurance policy.
