What a Hoot Games is an on-line business whose aim is to get families and friends more active while having a lot of fun. Mark and Sheryl Apthorpe established the business because of their concern how "screen" games are dominating the time of family and friends, especially children spending more time just sitting playing "screen" games by themselves. They are concerned about the reduction of time families and friends spend playing games together, especially active fun games. With six children, and 5 grandchildren (so far) they understand the value kids get out of being outside playing games with family and friends. They believe in letting children be children, playing outside, running off some of their energy - and learning life skills in the process.
