Winecdote offers a modern and fun approach to wine education. Winecdote is founded by Claudia Bastiaensen. Claudia is a native Dutch wine lover who lives in North East London. She fell in love with wine during a seven-year stay in Paris and successfully completed multiple degrees of the Wine and Spirit Education Trust. Claudia founded Winecdote because she believes that learning about wine should be fun and relaxed.:"Winecdote is a modern approach when it comes to telling stories about wine. I wanted to break away from the traditional elements in the experience of wine tasting (wine cellars, complicated vocabulary, overly complex wines) and develop a more modern and quirky concept.
