The Wausau Woodchucks are a collegiate summer baseball team based in Wausau, Wisconsin. They are a member of the Northwoods League, one of the premier collegiate summer leagues in the United States, drawing in top college players from all over the country. The Woodchucks are operated similar to a professional minor league team and provide their players with an opportunity to play under the same conditions, using wood bats and minor league specification baseballs. The team experiences overnight road trips and plays nightly before thousands of fans in stadiums across Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, and even Canada!The Woodchucks provide a fun, family-friendly baseball experience for all in attendance, getting fans involved regularly throughout the game.
