Witham Industrial Watch Ltd supports c. 300 businesses based in Witham's industrial estates by implementing and managing commitments to the area's Business Improvement District (BID) status. In 2004 a local group of business people formed an effective network to alert each other to suspicious activity and incidents in the area. In 2009 the group formed a company, Witham Industrial Watch Ltd, and were successful in achieving our first term's BID status. In 2019, once again businesses on the estates voted overwhelmingly in favour of our third consecutive 5-year BID term.Among other things, our aim is to improve security, signage, safety and estate surroundings to facilitate building a better business community.
