The "Women in Business: Invest for the Future" (WiBIF) NGO was established in 2011, by women leaders representing various business sectors of Armenia.WIBIF is managed by a Board consisting of sixteen Founding Members having extensive expertise and experience in various business areas, including tourism, consulting, art, culture, industry, telecommunications, Public Relations, Information Technologies, non-profit management, healthcare and public administration, etc.The mission of WIBIF is to support the establishment, promotion and development of women-owned businesses in Armenia, as well as to assist women who own or manage businesses to expand their activities in Armenia and abroad.WIBIF's objectives are:+ Promotion of business development through provision of education, training, and consultancy;+ Promotion of business development through integration to international markets;+ Support to ongoing business development through investment of new and effective educational programs and technologies;+ Support to improvement of legislative field for a better business environment;+ Establishment of networks for business development;+ Protection and advocacy of rights and interests of women owned or led businesses in Armenia.Since its creation, WIBIF has substantially contributed to the development of a better business environment in Armenia – numerous women in Yerevan and the Armenian regions have received professional training for a start-up and expansion of their businesses.
