The Company name had to represent the fact that everything is homemade. My mother lived in Woodford and I lived on Warner Road and so Woodford & Warner was formed. When I did a web search to register the Company name, it brought up a map of Port of Spain in Trinidad where Woodford and Warner Streets intersect. It is a very fitting association since many of the products are derived from Trinbagonian (Trinidad & Tobago) cooking and others reflect the British fondness for desserts and puddings. The British and Caribbean fusion reflects the pride I feel about my own heritage as a child of a Trinbagonian father and a mother who is originally British.
