Worcester Educational Development Foundation (WEDF) was founded in 2005 for the sole purpose of supporting students and teachers in the Worcester Public Schools. The WEDF is similar to hundreds of other organizations across the country that support school districts, providing support for the enhancement of programs and facilities that address the many needs of a large urban school system.Since its founding, the WEDF has raised and distributed more than $5 million, including the renovation of Commerce Bank Field at Foley Stadium.
