World Gone Mad Drum and Bugle Corps was formed in 2006 by the Reynolds' and Mr. Biscuit to give non-professional musicians the opportunity to perform for the public while allowing them to still have an outside life. Many groups are set up requiring extensive amount of time for rehearsals, performances, and travel with the associated financial burden. Also these groups quite often have year-long schedules. WGM was designed from the beginning to have 2 to 3 rehearsals or performances a month. We limit travel to events that are fun for us. Also, our performance season runs from the later part of September to the middle part of June. This allows our members to schedule vacations as well as avoid the hot Texas summer months.
