WABC is a NGO helping the special needed to develop their artistic potentials as a way to educate and improve their quality of life. By setting up workshops and providing training programs in communities, we offer opportunities for the trainees to display their talents in drawing, music, pottery, etc. Meanwhile, we try to make the general public more responsive to the amazing artistic gifts of the special needed through exhibitions, selling derivatives and other forms. By doing so, we hope to promote social integration and gradually overcome the prejudices and discriminations against the special needed. Until now, we have cooperation with 20 communities: 11 in Shanghai, 6 in Beijing, 2 in Chengdu and 1 in Hangzhou.
