Yoga with Chrissie was founded in 2018 by me, Christina Monnelly. I teach public classes, private small group and 121 sessions, and corporate yoga throughout Cardiff and South Wales. Sessions can include pranayama (yogic breathing techniques), optional hands on adjustments, mindfulness and guided meditation.Christina first took a yoga class in 2012 primarily as a form of exercise and a way to improve flexibility to balance her running and cycling and she felt the physical benefits very quickly. However, the mental and emotional benefits were an unanticipated bonus that that kept her going back. The holistic nature of yoga helped Christina both recover from recurring sports-related injuries, cope with stressful life events and find a bit of peace.Christina's style is challenging but playful and she likes the balance of both yin and yang practices. Christina focusses on increasing strength and flexibility, both on and off the mat. Her classes are dynamic yet accessible through variations and modifications, with an emphasis on mindful movement and body awareness. Christina enjoys a strong practice to strengthen the body and quieten the mind and is enthusiastic about sharing the joy of all that yoga has to offer and helping you to find that little bit of bliss.
