It may seem unimaginable that in a thriving city like Calgary, many families struggle to put food on their tables, or have to send their children to school without a proper well balanced meal. In Calgary alone, around 5000 children go without during the school day. Zero Hungry Kids was built to help combat this problem and to support other local community initiatives with a common goal, to nourish our youth while they are learning. This is not just a local problem. In every community across Canada there kids are going to school hungry, without access to a healthy breakfast and a nourishing lunch. We started in Calgary but we are working hard to support our neighboring communities and we need your help.
