Over a decade of entrepreneurial experience in the food industry spoke for my business acumen and my passion for tea helped me land my first opportunity in the tea industry.After a great start and delivering some great results for the organization I wanted more.My journey as a Tea-preneur began with Chaiom in April 2017. What helped me take off successfully and sustain was my aptitude to spot opportunity, my skills to sell and collaborate, and my drive to make it big! While my passion for tea and my deep understanding of the industry earned me to trust from many who also did business with me. A big boost to my confidence was when Product X Ventures decided to buy a 5% stake in the company, a company founded by Kevin Harrington, a businessman who also rose to fame with Shark Tank, a USA based startup reality show.Chaiom has served over 12 million teacups in 30 months of its operations. Its success has led me to receive a lot of recognition from not just people in the tea industry but also awards like Time of India's Unlimited Rising Star, Goldman Sachs 10000 Women Program (2019), Walmart Women Entrepreneur (2018), and P& G Women Entrepreneur (2018).IIM-Bangalore, Procter and Gamble, Vestige, CG group in Nepal, and Farm Native Group, feature among top clients.
