What We Do: At the ‘econic earth foundation' we are focused on environmental conservation through empowering students and communities with renewable energy solutions. By teaming up with solar power and water filtration companies we provide solutions that positively impact individuals lives. Through our media division we bring attention and focus to the programs and program partners by filming our collaborative installations and sharing their personal stories. We feature these films in festivals, online and in private screenings with Q&A afterwards. We continue to support smaller non-profits around the World as well as educate on the need for sustainable lifestyles, renewable energy and the importance of balancing the eco-system for our own survival. Current Program: Watts-On: Lighting Students LivesWe are currently working in Northern Kenya with with primary education directors, parents and students. Partnered with 2 local NGOs we are empowering students living off-grid with solar lights and monitoring their impact. We've currently distributed 500 solar lights to year 7 and 8 students. This will be followed by our stage 2; a sustainable community impact program centered on a renewable energy solution. TBA
