Türkiye'de elektrik enerjisi ticareti, serbest tüketicilere satışı, ithalat ve ihracatı faaliyetlerimiz başlamıştır.Ana şirket, EMBA Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., Çinli Shanghai Electric Power Co., Ltd. (SEP), Avic-Intl Project Engineering Company ve yerel yatırımcılar tarafından ortak bir girişim olarak Türkiye'de 2x 660 MW'lık ithal kömür yakıtlı termik elektrik santrali kurmaktadır. İlk ünite 660 MW'ın Enerji Bakanlığı geçici kabulü tamamlanmış olup, ticari işletmeye başlamıştır. İkinci ünitenin devreye almaya çalışmaları devam etmektedir. Söz konusu proje Adana İli, Yumurtalık İlçesi, Sugözü Köyünde bulunmaktadır. Belirtilen elektrik santrali yılda 8.000 saat süreyle faaliyette bulunacak olup 11.5 milyar kWh elektrik enerjisi üretimiyle Türkiye'deki enerji talebine önemli bir katkıda bulunacaktır.
