KYDS exists so that no young person will be without mental health support. We provide free, independent and accessible mental health support to young people (up to the age of 19) across Northern Sydney. Conveniently located, and with no requirement for a doctor's referral or mental health care plan, we make it easy to get support, at a time when young people may feel they have nowhere to turn. In 2022, we provided almost 6,000 face-to-face individual and family counselling sessions and supported over 400 families. We reached an additional 3,000 students, parents/carers and other family members through our Schools and Community Outreach Program, including workshops, keynote addresses, parent/carer webinars and presentations to professionals.
