MIL.SPEC. (which is short for Military Specification) are a movie armoury company based in Cape Town about 15mins drive from Cape Town Film Studios, with international branches in Namibia, and the UK. They are a one stop shop as far as anything Military, Police, General Weaponry and Gadgets are concerned. They provide weapons, military/police props, uniforms, gadgets and training to the Film & TV Industry. They are dedicated to safety and realism in their field and for this reason run Firearms & Tactical Training for stunt men, action extras & actors. Using a great venue set up with a military theme they provide tactical training, as well as real firearm training at an indoor and outdoor range. Their speciality lies in SWAT Tactics which are a combination of both military and police tactics, therefore the training provided can be adapted for most other military/police roles. MIL.SPEC are passionate about their work and genuinely love what they do, for this reason they also run Team Building Workshops and Team Fun Days around the theme of Military Bootcamps and SWAT Scenarios for the general public and those who would love the experience of being a SWAT Team for the day and are not fortunate enough to work in the film industry.
