The two merged in 1995 to create the EagleHerald.Community Shoppers Inc. was purchased by Bliss Communications Inc. in June 2008. There are three community-based newspapers as part of the CSI Media, LLC, The Walworth County Advertiser-Shopper, Stateline News and Janesville Messenger.Bliss also operates southern Wisconsin web properties GazetteXtra.com and WalworthCountyToday.com.
