Chaos and arbitrary practices in the pharmaceutical distribution industry in the late 70s; pharmacists, whose main field of activity is human health, reaches the level that prevents them from fulfilling their duties and responsibilities arising from their profession; It has also brought pharmacists to produce their own solutions.In this process; Seeing the solution to overcoming the difficulties they are in through solidarity and sharing, pharmacists established their first cooperative in Manisa at the end of 1978 and put these ideas into practice. This initiative was followed by the initiatives of pharmacists serving in other regions, and the Union of All Pharmacists Cooperatives (TEKB) was established in 1989, which gathered all these initiatives under the same roof.In the same process; The studies and initiatives carried out in Istanbul, where pharmacists serve intensively, came together on November 18, 1989 and laid the foundations of our cooperative. Since its establishment, in the pharmaceutical industry; Adopting as a principle to have a say in favor of the professional and economic gains of its partners, and to share its knowledge and experience with all segments of the society, especially its own sector, Istanbul Ecza Koop will continue this understanding in the future with the strength it receives from its partners.Istanbul Pharmacists Cooperative, following all developments and innovations in its field, maximizing the service quality; It aims to increase the satisfaction of its partners, to make the pharmacies of the cooperative partners the preferred health institutions, and to be a pioneer and active in all stages of the sector by raising the prestige of the pharmacy profession.
