With the motto of serving the people, Lokmanya Cooperative Credit Society Ltd. was founded in 1995, by Shri. Kiran Thakur, a renowned social worker and the editor of Tarun Bharat Daily. The idea to empower people was driven by the vision of Shri. Thakur, who was ably supported by a group of like-minded individuals.The first step of empowerment was to give financial support to the ambitious yet needy people, who believed in passionately following their dreams. Over the years, the passion, dedication and vision of Shri. Thakur has diversified the operations of Lokmanya.
