The Youth Sustainable Development Network (YSDN) collaborates with young people and changemakers worldwide to cultivate an environment conducive to achieving a sustainable and resilient future by 2030. With a focus on youth engagement, the YSDN offers intellectual guidance and scientific evidence to address the challenges outlined in the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through humanistic and critical thinking, the network promotes research, education, and practical initiatives to foster equitable global communities and create more sustainable societies. Since its existence in 2019, the YSDN has empowered over 10,000 youth, reduced emissions by 258.11 tons of CO2, and forged 20 strategic partnerships while implementing three impactful sustainability projects.

Consistent Energy was incorporated in January 2015 to deploy rooftop solar in Nigeria to end users especially for productive use. The company is the brand owner of SolarDirect with the vision of putting solar on your rooftop. The company has installed solar for several small businesses such as barber shops, mobile phone chargers, schools, market stalls etc with the ultimate goal of displacing the small generators. It has the plans of rolling out 1 million solar installations by the year 2030 to create jobs among small businesses including agricultural value chain. Our unique selling point is to make solar affordable through leasing and rent-to-own financing scheme.

We were founded in 2016 by students of the Faculty of Law, the University of Lagos who attended the National Model United Nations in Washington DC, New York, and Rome and won numerous awards.  From their experiences, they believed they had seen an incredible platform; a platform which had to be provided for African youth.This is the humble story of Lagos Model United Nations which is the first ever Model United Nations hosted by a university in West Africa. The Lagos Model United Nations is a simulation of the United Nations organs and other international bodies quintessential to the United Nations.   Lagos Model United Nations (LMUN) is an Annual Conference organised by the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos.  LMUN is focused on Young Adults and youths who want to strive to do more and ensure their voices are heard on world issues.   Providing pragmatic solutions through resolutions, LMUN is a platform for development through experiential learning.   By giving the delegates a centre stage to discuss, negotiate, mediate and speak confidently on global issues, the delegates become global citizens who are solution oriented and passionate about developing their various social milieus.

Lagos, Nigeria faces a sobering waste crisis that will only worsen as the city's population of 18 million people continues to soar. The overburdened municipal government collects only 40% of city garbage and a mere 13% of recyclable materials are salvaged from landfills. People living in slum conditions without formal waste collection are subject to increased flooding, disease spread, and psychological stress that results from unmanaged trash heaps.  Concurrently, recycling firms in Lagos face a supply constraint—they cannot access and adequate supply of quality materials to process. One large recycling firm is operating its factor 50 to 60% below capacity.Wecyclers gives low-income communities in developing countries a chance to capture value from waste and clean up their neighborhoods through incentive-based recycling.
