St Catherine's College is a leading university residential college founded in 1946 as an independent, secular college affiliated with the University of Western Australia. It is a selective, co-educational living and learning environment for 400 students from a diverse range of backgrounds, both local and overseas, undergraduate and postgraduate. Indigenous Access: St Catherine's runs a dedicated Indigenous access program, Dandjoo Darbalung, that has a proven track record in improving the retention rate and educational outcomes of Indigenous students undertaking higher education. The Dandjoo Darbalung program is also a cross-cultural awareness program to foster a better understanding of Indigenous history in Australia and engage Indigenous and non-Indigenous students in a shared commitment to equal opportunities for all Australians.
