The Fulton School is an independent, coeducational, Montessori-based school serving children 18 months old through 12th grade. Conveniently located along the Hwy 40 corridor in Chesterfield, Missouri, we provide an excellent education for children of various backgrounds and learning styles, fostering confidence, philanthropy, and a deep love of learning through independence, initiative, service, and child-centered teaching. Our forward-focused approach emphasizes hands-on learning, critical thinking, and character growth. The Montessori Method emphasizes independence (to create confidence), concentration (the building block of academic growth), individualized learning (so your child is never bored or overwhelmed), and character (we believe in growing the whole child). An integral part of our mission is for students to become responsible, respectful, global citizens. We offer a comprehensive music program that begins in preschool, daily PE classes through 8th grade, outdoor education trips starting in 4th grade, volunteer and entrepreneurship opportunities, and domestic/international trips and varsity athletics for high schoolers. We have a school-wide Farm Program where kids work first-hand with the care and keeping of gardens and animals. We also have a robust Makerspace with 3D printers, a laser cutter, CNC machine, embroidery machine, vinyl cutter, heat press, plus a large selection of power and hand tools. In addition, we have a comprehensive Learning Support Program on campus for students who need more one-on-one structure than classroom teachers can provide. **UPDATE: The Fulton School at St. Albans moved to Chesterfield and merged with Chesterfield Day School as of June 1, 2022. The new entity is called The Fulton School in honor of Dr. Barb Fulton's service and commitment to both schools. The St. Albans campus community of students, faculty and staff has moved to the Chesterfield campus at 1100 White Road.
